What's Happening

The Poiema book study group meets on third Sundays. Our next gathering is Sunday, July 18th. We will continue our study of An Altar in the World: A Geography of Faith by Barbara Brown Taylor. We will discuss Chapter 7 - The Practice of Living with Purpose - Vocation, and Chapter 8 - The Practice of saying No - Sabbath. Everyone is welcome even if you have not read the chapters. Poiema will provide the evening meal beginning at 5:30 p.m. Book study begins about 7. We will gather at the home of Jean Fox, 7215 Geneva Drive, Austin, 78723.
